Timeless look
Venetian polished plaster was used in antiquity by the Greeks, Romans and Egyptians but was a forgotten art until 500 years ago in Renaissance Venice. In the 1950s and 1960s, Carlo Scarpo, the famous Italian architect, led a resurgence of the technique.
